SCS679   Practice Learning Educator: Stage Two   (15 credits)

Description

This module is designed for those supervising, mentoring and assessing social work students in the workplace. This module develops the student's knowledge of theories of learning development in the supervision and management of a practice learning opportunity. To be able to undertake this module you must therefore take full responsibility for a Practice Learning Opportunity for a social work student at level 2 or final placement. You must have already demonstrated you have met the requirements for Stage One in the Practice Educator Professional Standards either through an appropriate Practice Educator Stage One programme or through considerable experience of being a practice educator.
